Banking Experience
Despite all predictions by electronic banking advocates for the last 22 years that traditional "bricks and mortar" branches would soon be obsolete, bank branch construction is at an unprecedented high in the Southwest market. This results from a fierce competition for mass personal deposits to fund the banking industry's large commercial portfolios. Schnitz & Sewell's principals have specialized in bank design for nearly 30 years, having designed well over 400 facilities nationwide, ranging from small branches to headquarter facilities in excess of 400,000 S.F.. In addition to traditional banking facilities, we have also gained considerable experience through the design of support facilities such as banking operations facilities which house computer and data capture divisions as well as telecommunications and ATM support functions. These facilities range from 30,000 S.F. to 350,000 S.F..
