Church Experience
Religious organizations are undergoing a wonderful and exciting transformation in order to extend ministries to the younger generation while continuing to serve traditional members. Churches of all denominations are developing ministries centered around contemporary gospel music and drama as a means to this end. Technology is playing a major role in this evolution in terms of audio, photographic, computer generated graphic presentation, web streaming live broadcast and microwave broadcast capabilities. Schnitz & Sewell's extensive background in computer operations facilities design affords unique technological experience with which to meet these new challenges. However, considerable design challenges accompany these changes. Many of our clients offer a traditional early service and a mid-morning contemporary service. Through innovative design we have found it possible to develop a traditional setting complete with daylight lighting and choir loft for the traditional service which can be transformed into a full production stage with total stage lighting control in a matter of minutes for the contemporary service.
